Procurement Engineer (Oil and Gas)

About this role

A full‑time Procurement Engineer (Oil & Gas) based in Port Harcourt, responsible for end-to-end procurement for oil and gas projects, including sourcing, supplier management, and ensuring technical compliance and timely delivery.

What you would do

• Prepare RFQs and evaluate supplier quotations
• Process purchase orders for materials, equipment and services
• Source materials from local and international vendors
• Coordinate logistics, inspections and delivery to project sites
• Maintain procurement records, reports and compliance documentation
• Manage supplier relationships, pricing discussions and delivery schedules

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering or related field (B.Sc in Engineering required)
• 8–15 years of procurement or project engineering experience in oil and gas or heavy industry
• Strong analytical, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/procurement systems
• Experience with RFQs, bid evaluations, technical procurement and vendor management
• Solid understanding of API/ASME/ISO standards and international sourcing
