What you would do

• Coordinate and consolidate procurement requests from end-user departments with clear specifications.
• Manage end-to-end procurement of engineering materials, equipment, spare parts, consumables, and technical services.
• Clarify technical specifications with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to meet operational needs.
• Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers, OEMs, and engineering service providers.
• Obtain and analyse quotations, conduct technical and commercial evaluations, and negotiate prices.
• Monitor purchase orders, supplier commitments, and delivery schedules to prevent delays.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, budgets, quality standards, and approval processes.
• Maintain procurement records, prepare reports, and monitor supplier performance.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
• Support timely procurement to sustain operations.

What they are asking for

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, or related engineering discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in engineering procurement, preferably with engineering service providers serving FMCG or manufacturing companies.
• Strong knowledge of engineering materials, equipment, spare parts, technical specifications, and procurement processes.
• Proven experience coordinating end-user requests, supplier sourcing, technical and commercial evaluations, and price negotiations.
• Proficiency in ERP/procurement systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and negotiation skills; high integrity and attention to detail.
