What you would do

• Conduct market surveys and price benchmarking to identify sources and inform decisions.
• Identify and engage suppliers including farmers, local markets, wholesalers, and distributors.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, discounts, and delivery arrangements with suppliers.
• Consolidate purchasing requirements across functions to leverage economies of scale.
• Compare supplier quotations and total acquisition costs to inform recommendations.
• Maintain a cost savings tracker with baseline costs, opportunities, actions, and actual savings.
• Submit regular reports on realised savings, procurement variances, and cost optimisation opportunities.
