Procurement and Material Coordinator

About this role

A full-time Procurement and Material Coordinator role based in Lagos, mainly handling sourcing, purchasing and tracking of construction materials for site projects. The position targets candidates with at least two years in procurement or material coordination and who reside around the Sangotedo axis.

What you would do

• Source and purchase construction materials, tools and consumables from reliable suppliers
• Obtain and compare quotations, negotiate prices and select the best options
• Coordinate with site engineers and supervisors to understand material needs and ensure timely delivery
• Maintain stock records, material usage and site inventory
• Receive, inspect and verify delivered materials against orders and delivery notes
• Prepare purchase orders, documentation and procurement reports and manage site store operations

• OND/HND/BSc in relevant fields (Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Building Technology, Business Administration or similar)
• Minimum of 2 years in procurement or material coordination, preferably on construction/site projects
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Ability to work on-site under pressure and meet deadlines
• Honest, organised and detail-oriented
• Good knowledge of building materials and local suppliers/markets and residence around Sangotedo axis (Ajah, Awoyaya, Abraham Adesanya, Lekki-Epe)
