Process Engineer - Sagamu
About this role
A Process Engineer role based in Sagamu, Ogun, supporting production and quality objectives by implementing systems and continuous improvement initiatives. The position targets engineers who can lead optimisation efforts, work with operations teams, and drive safety and efficiency in a cement/ construction materials environment.
What you would do
- Develop standard operating procedures and targets
- Supervise operations personnel to apply SOPs consistently
- evaluate AFR impact on the process and implement solutions
- Implement tools for continuous process improvements and benchmarking
- Prepare clear reports and communicate plant activities within the site and company
- Cooperate in design/modification of systems and train operation personnel
What they are asking for
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 3 to 5 years’ engineering experience
- Knowledge of statistical process control methods and experimental design
- Experience with project management methods and process control tools
- Ability to perform measurements of basic processes (gas flow, temperature, gas analysis)
- Understanding of expert systems and process optimization concepts
