Principal Pipeline Engineer
About this role
Principal Pipeline Engineer for WTS Energy based in Rivers. You will provide subsea pipeline engineering expertise and lead the delivery of the HA and HB-Buko projects, which aim to supply about 350-450 MMscf/d of gas to NLNG Train-7 from 2029 and 25-30 kb/d of oil and condensate for export. The role reports to the Engineering Manager, Shallow Water Offshore, and interfaces with project engineers, discipline engineers, contractors and regulators while guiding junior engineers.
What you would do
- Lead detailed pipeline engineering activities across the project lifecycle, including design analyses and installation considerations.
- Deliver full pipeline design scopes on projects by managing junior engineers with minimal supervision.
- Provide detailed design and analysis of rigid pipeline systems in accordance with industry codes, standards, and design guides.
- Coordinate pipeline engineering support for multidiscipline projects within budget and schedule.
- Supervise pipeline engineers and support QA/QC of FEED and detailed design deliverables.
- Train and mentor junior and graduate engineers and contribute to guidance for professionals in the field.

- NSE and COREN membership.
- Minimum of 14 years' experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Knowledge of HSSE framework and international engineering standards, best practices and systems.
- Strong leadership, coaching and people management skills with ability to work in a multi-ethnic, multi-disciplinary environment.
- Good communication skills and ability to function with minimal supervision.
