Practice & Technical Support Manager Tax Practice

About this role

A full-time Practice and Technical Support Manager for the Tax Practice, responsible for leading technical and operational management, quality delivery of tax engagements, and client relationship management in a Lagos firm. Suitable for candidates with extensive tax advisory or consulting experience and leadership ability.

What you would do

• Review tax computations, advisory work and compliance across CIT, VAT, WHT, PAYE and other taxes.
• Provide technical guidance on Nigerian tax laws and authorities’ directives.
• Manage client engagements from onboarding to completion with timely, high-quality delivery.
• Review engagement files, tax opinions, reports and client submissions for accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate tax audits, investigations, queries and correspondence with tax authorities.
• Monitor team workload, performance and development; maintain practice management records and support business development.

What they are asking for

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting or related field.
• Membership of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN) mandatory.
• MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years in tax experience within advisory, accounting or consulting.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
