POS Technician

About this role

Moniepoint Incorporated is hiring a POS Technician for its Abuja operations. The role involves repairing, supporting and maintaining POS terminals and related devices across the distribution network, including Linux and Android devices, Mpos and kiosks. It requires hardware repair experience and the ability to work with the hardware team to manage end-to-end repairs.

What you would do

• Repair, support and maintain POS terminals and related devices
• Support all POS terminals across the distribution network (Linux and Android, Mpos and Kiosk)
• Work with the hardware department to manage end-to-end repair processes
• Provide second-level hardware support for issues
• Manage and coordinate Terminal Repair Centres across the network
• Perform other duties as delegated by the line manager

What they are asking for

• B.Sc. or HND qualification
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a related role
• Ability to repair PAX, Aisino, Smartpeck and Topwise terminals
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and good computer skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work with limited supervision; self-driven and proactive
• Resident in FCT Abuja and proficient in English
