POS Recovery Manager

About this role

Role focuses on end-to-end recovery of non-performing POS terminal assets, from risk flag to retrieval, financial settlement, and post-write-off recovery. It targets candidates with senior field operations experience, especially in Nigeria, and oversees a distributed recovery team and recovery economics.

What you would do

• Define and govern the terminal recovery lifecycle and escalation/settlement timing.
• Lead and manage a distributed field recovery team across regions; establish SOPs and training.
• Coordinate with external agencies and logistics to recover assets and manage exchanges and disputes.
• Monitor and optimise recovery KPIs and cost metrics to ensure net positive recovery value.
• Report monthly on recovery activity, outcomes, and financial impact.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and ethical standards in field operations.

What they are asking for

• Minimum 7 years in large-scale field operations, logistics, asset recovery or after-sales service.
• At least 3 years in a senior leadership role managing distributed field teams in Nigeria.
• Experience managing third-party service providers or agency networks with performance-based contracts.
• Direct experience in the Nigerian market and its logistical/regulatory realities.
• Preferred: background in fintech, telecoms, e-commerce logistics, or high-volume asset management.
• Preferred: experience handling asset recovery at scale (thousands of units per month).
