POS Development Officer
About this role
A POS Development Officer role based in Lagos, focused on acquiring, onboarding and growing merchants for POS services, managing relationships and driving POS performance for clients of Pivotage Consulting. It targets individuals with experience in sales, business development or fin tech who can work in the field.
What you would do
- Identify and acquire new merchants for POS services.
- Onboard and activate merchants in line with policies and regulatory requirements.
- Build and maintain relationships with merchants.
- Monitor POS usage, transactions and merchant performance.
- Identify inactive terminals and develop usage improvement strategies.
- Prepare reports on merchant acquisition, deployment and performance.

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
- 1 - 3 years' experience in sales, business development, fintech, banking or POS operations.
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-management skills.
- Good knowledge of POS/fintech products and payment solutions.

- Ability to work independently and in the field.
