Portfolio Manager

About this role

A full-time Portfolio Manager role in Lagos supporting the MD/CEO with investment strategy, portfolio management, research, and risk/compliance across asset classes. Intended for experienced finance professionals with strong analytical skills and leadership abilities, who can manage client portfolios and contribute to product development and business growth.

What you would do

• Manage and monitor investment portfolios and assess performance against benchmarks
• Support product development, client relationship management and mobilisation of investment funds
• Develop and implement client-aligned investment strategies and firm goals
• Monitor capital, money, fixed income, equities and other asset classes
• Prepare investment proposals, portfolio reports, market outlooks and client communications
• Maintain investment documentation, internal controls and compliance with governance and risk frameworks

What they are asking for

• Minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience in asset management, portfolio management, investment banking, corporate finance, banking or related financial services
• Sound understanding of Nigeria’s capital market and SEC regulations
• Strong analytical, leadership, communication and report-writing skills
• Relevant professional qualifications (CFA, CIS or similar) preferred
• Master's Degree required
• Eligible to serve as an SEC-sponsored individual in the fund and portfolio management function
