Portfolio Manager
About this role
A full-time Portfolio Manager role in Lagos supporting the CEO with investment strategy, client portfolios and risk management across asset classes. The position targets experienced professionals in asset management and related financial services.
What you would do
- Develop and implement investment strategies aligned with client objectives and firm goals
- Conduct financial modelling, company valuation, market research and investment analysis
- Manage and monitor investment portfolios, assess performance against benchmarks and suggest rebalancing
- Identify and manage investment risks while ensuring regulatory and internal policy compliance
- Prepare investment proposals, performance reports, market outlooks for management and clients
- Monitor capital, money, fixed income, equities and other asset classes and support business growth and client relationship management
What they are asking for
- Master's Degree
- Eligible to serve as an SEC-sponsored individual for fund and portfolio management
- Minimum of 10 years in asset management, portfolio management, investment banking, corporate finance or related field
- Strong knowledge of corporate finance, modelling, valuation techniques and portfolio construction
- Experience in investment decision-making, portfolio monitoring, performance measurement and risk management
- Understanding of Nigeria's capital market and SEC regulations; strong analytical, leadership, communication and reporting skills
