A full-time Pool Driver based in Lagos is responsible for safely transporting personnel, clients and event equipment, as well as vehicle maintenance and keeping accurate records. What you would do
- Transport employees, management, clients and staff to offices, project sites and event venues
- Assist with loading, securing and transporting AV, lighting and staging equipment
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report faults
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and roadworthiness
- Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel, trips and maintenance
- Communicate delays, incidents and schedule changes promptly
- Comply with traffic laws and organisational driving policies
- Maintain accurate logs of mileage, fuel consumption and maintenance
- Support logistics operations as assigned
- Ensure proper handling and protection of passengers and equipment
What they are asking for
- 3–5 years of professional driving experience; corporate, logistics or event industry experience is an advantage
- Good knowledge of Lagos roads and alternative routes
- Valid Nigerian driver’s licence and clean driving record
- Minimum of O'Level (SSCE) or equivalent
- Good English communication skills
- Physically fit to assist with occasional equipment handling
