Emmix Global Limited in Lagos is hiring a plumber to install, maintain, inspect and repair water supply, drainage and sanitary facilities across the company’s factory, workshop, office and other premises. The role ensures these systems remain functional and safe for the organisation.
What you would do
- Install, repair and maintain water supply and drainage systems.
- Install and repair plumbing fixtures such as pipes, taps, sinks, toilets, showers, water tanks and pumps.
- Identify and repair leaks, blockages and other drainage problems.
- Carry out plumbing installations for new offices, workshops and production areas; replace damaged components as required.
- Conduct regular inspections, perform preventive maintenance and test systems for leaks or faults; keep records of repairs and maintenance.
- Respond to emergencies, assist with facility maintenance and coordinate with external contractors for specialised plumbing work.
What they are asking for
- 2-3 years' experience as a plumber.
- Technical qualification, apprenticeship or relevant vocational training in plumbing (preferred).
- Experience in factory, manufacturing facility, construction or commercial building environments (advantage).
- Knowledge of water supply, drainage, piping, pumps and fixtures.
- Ability to identify and repair leaks, blockages and other plumbing faults; able to use plumbing tools safely.
- Physically fit and able to work independently; able to respond quickly to maintenance emergencies.
