Plastic Moulding & Printing Officer
About this role
The role involves operating, monitoring and maintaining plastic moulding equipment to produce quality plastic parts, setup moulds and adhere to safety and production standards. It targets candidates with knowledge of plastic moulding processes and prior experience in plastic manufacturing or injection moulding.
What you would do
- Operate injection moulding and other moulding machines safely and efficiently.
- Set up machines according to production parameters such as temperature, pressure and cycle times.
- Install, align and handle moulds per procedures.
- Monitor production and inspect products for defects.
- Carry out routine cleaning, lubrication and basic maintenance.
- Record production data and report faults to supervisors.
What they are asking for
- Bachelor's Degree, HND or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Polymer/Plastics Technology, Industrial Engineering or related field.
- Relevant technical training or certification in plastic processing or moulding is an advantage.
- Previous experience in a plastic manufacturing or injection moulding environment.
