ARN Foods Limited seeks an experienced Plant Manager to oversee its rice mill operations in Lagos. The role covers end-to-end production from paddy intake to packaging, ensuring efficiency, quality, and ongoing improvement. What you would do
- Manage all rice mill operations from paddy intake through packaging.
- Achieve production targets with cost efficiency and minimal waste.
- Maintain quality standards and ensure compliance with NAFDAC, SON, and export requirements.
- Oversee plant maintenance to reduce downtime and enhance equipment performance.
- Coordinate with procurement, supply chain, and logistics for smooth operations.
- Enforce health, safety and environment standards and foster a safety culture.
- Lead and develop plant teams, ensuring high performance and accountability.
- Monitor KPIs such as output, recovery rate, downtime, and cost efficiency, and report to management.

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 8 to 12 years of experience, including at least 5 years in senior-level FMCG factory or plant management.
- Strong expertise in rice mill commissioning, operations, and machinery.
- Proven experience managing large-scale production facilities.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with production planning, maintenance systems, and quality control.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and plant automation tools.
