Planner / Activity Planner

About this role

A full-time Planner / Activity Planner based in Lagos, responsible for developing and managing integrated schedules for upstream oil and gas projects, coordinating across engineering, operations, and support teams. Suitable for experienced professionals with strong planning, scheduling and reporting capabilities within oil and gas.

What you would do

• Coordinate planning inputs from wells, operations, maintenance, logistics, contracts and procurement, and technical teams.
• Support resource loading, shutdown and maintenance planning, and interface management.
• Develop and maintain integrated activity, project and operational schedules.
• Track critical path, milestones, look-ahead plans, constraints and schedule variances.
• Maintain action, risk, interface and constraint registers and follow up.
• Prepare progress reports, dashboards, forecasts and management updates.

What they are asking for

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management or related field.
• 8–12 years of relevant oil and gas planning experience.
• Experience in project planning, activity planning, scheduling, progress monitoring and reporting.
• Knowledge of project controls, planning processes and technical documentation.
• Desirable: PMP, PMI-SP or equivalent certification.
