Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) Services

What you would do

• Perform PAUT examinations on welds, piping, pressure vessels and pipelines.
• Prepare and configure PAUT equipment according to approved procedures and inspection requirements.
• Select probes, wedges, scan plans and frequencies for testing.
• Calibrate equipment and verify sensitivity prior to examinations.
• Scan, acquire and analyse PAUT data to identify indications.
• Report findings and maintain examination records.

What they are asking for

• Technical certificate, OND, HND, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Materials Science, Welding Technology, or a related discipline.
• Relevant PAUT/UT certification (e.g., ISO 9712, PCN, ASNT) as required by the project.
• Practical PAUT experience in oil and gas, petrochemical, pipeline, fabrication, offshore or industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of ultrasonic testing principles, weld inspection and defect evaluation; ability to interpret drawings, weld maps and procedures.
• Experience with phased-array instruments, probes, wedges, scanners and data-analysis software.
• Knowledge of standards and codes such as ASME, API, AWS, ISO and project-specific requirements; good analytical and communication skills.
