What you would do

• Dispense, label and package prescribed drugs and counsel patients on proper use to minimise side effects and maximise benefits.
• Provide clinical advice on drug regimens and monitor patient adherence and effectiveness.
• Check patients' past medication history before prescribing or refilling to ensure safety.
• Manage drug inventory, including stock monitoring and regular audits to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support drug procurement and apply cost-effective purchasing decisions.
• Provide patients with information on drug interactions, side effects and storage.

What they are asking for

• Pharmacy Technician qualification or certificate from an institution accredited by the relevant Nigerian regulatory authorities.
• Current registration or licence with the Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (PCN) as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Evidence of a current practising licence where applicable.
• 2-3 years' relevant work experience in a hospital, community pharmacy, rehabilitation facility or other healthcare setting.
• Practical knowledge of pharmacy operations, medication handling, dispensing support, stock management and inventory control.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications and pharmacy/healthcare information systems.
