Castville Solutions is recruiting a Pharmacist Assistant to support daily pharmacy operations in Rivers. The role involves assisting the Superintendent Pharmacist with dispensing, counselling on OTC drugs, and administering injections. What you would do
- Assist the Superintendent Pharmacist in dispensing prescriptions and counselling customers on OTC drugs
- Administer injections (IM, IV, Subcutaneous) as prescribed and ensure patient safety
- Process sales, issue receipts, and operate the POS machine accurately
- Receive, verify, and arrange incoming drugs with proper labeling and expiry monitoring
- Monitor stock levels and report low stock, expiry, or damaged goods
- Maintain accurate injection and sales records
- Maintain infection control and safe disposal of needles/syringes
- Keep the pharmacy clean, orderly, and welcoming

- OND / Pharmacy Technician, or Nursing Assistant qualification
- 1 - 2 years experience as a pharmacy assistant in a retail/community pharmacy
- Proficiency in giving injections (practical testing at interview)
- Excellent customer service, communication, and drug knowledge skills
- Neat, honest, polite, and able to follow pharmacist's instructions
- Must know how to give injections
- Residence near the work location and willing to resume immediately
