Castville Solutions is recruiting a Pharmacy Assistant for a full-time role in Ada George, Port Harcourt, Rivers. The position supports daily pharmacy operations, assists the Superintendent Pharmacist with dispensing and customer counselling, and requires professional administration of injections. What you would do
- Attend to customers, process sales, issue receipts, and operate the POS machine accurately.
- Maintain infection control, safe disposal of needles and syringes, and a clean, welcoming pharmacy environment.
- Assist the Superintendent Pharmacist in dispensing prescriptions and counselling customers on over-the-counter drugs.
- Administer injections (IM, IV, and subcutaneous) as prescribed, ensuring proper technique and patient safety.
- Receive, verify, and organise incoming drugs with proper labeling and expiry monitoring.
- Monitor stock levels and report low stock, expired, or damaged goods.
- Maintain accurate records for injections and sales.

- OND, Pharmacy Technician, or Nursing Assistant qualification.
- 1–2 years of experience as a pharmacy assistant in a retail or community pharmacy.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and drug knowledge skills.
- Neat, honest, polite, and able to follow pharmacist instructions.
- Must know how to give injections and be able to demonstrate this at interview.
- Must reside near the work location and be ready to resume immediately.
