Pharmacist
About this role
The Pharmacist role at EHA Clinics in Abuja involves delivering safe, effective, patient-centred pharmaceutical services within the Pharmacy Unit, while ensuring the appropriate supply and use of medications in line with standards. It is for a registered pharmacist with an up-to-date practising licence.
What you would do
- Prepare and dispense medications based on physician prescriptions
- Review prescriptions for appropriateness, legality, dosage, and potential interactions
- Provide pharmaceutical care including patient assessment, drug therapy monitoring, education, and clinical interventions
- Develop medication plans to minimise adverse drug reactions and optimise treatment outcomes
- Maintain pharmacy operations with an up-to-date formulary and accurate records on the inventory system
- Manage the receiving, stocking, labeling, storage, and dispensing of medicines and other pharmacy products
What they are asking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, MPharm or PharmD
- Minimum of two years post-NYSC progressive experience in pharmacy (private or public sector)
- Registered with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) and up-to-date practising licence
- Experience in public health or health systems is an advantage
- Computer literate with strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work under pressure with attention to detail and teamwork
