About this role
A pharmacist is needed to manage medicines and pharmaceutical supplies across LPF health programmes in Borno. The role supports safe, rational medicine use and works with health teams to ensure availability, quality and accountability of medicines in a humanitarian context.
What you would do
- Provide pharmaceutical services in line with standards and protocols
- Review prescriptions for appropriateness and safety
- Dispense medicines and counsel patients on use and safety
- Maintain accurate medicine and supply records
- Forecast, procure and verify medicines to ensure timely availability
- Monitor storage, distribution and stock movement of medicines and report losses or discrepancies
