Pharmaceutical - Project Lead
About this role
Role: Pharmaceutical Project Lead for Prestigious Consulting Group in Lagos. The role involves leading pharmaceutical manufacturing projects from concept to commercialization, overseeing project execution, manufacturing strategy, regulatory compliance, GMP remediation, and contract manufacturing, in collaboration with regulators, manufacturers, investors and technical partners.
What you would do
- Lead pharmaceutical manufacturing projects from planning through commercialization.
- Develop project plans, timelines, budgets and execution strategies.
- Coordinate manufacturing scale-up and operational readiness.
- Identify and manage contract manufacturing opportunities.
- Lead GMP gap assessments and remediation programmes.
- Coordinate NAFDAC registration, regulatory approvals, and support WHO GMP/WHO Prequalification initiatives where applicable.
What they are asking for
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Industrial Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Technology, Biochemistry, Industrial Chemistry or related field.
- Minimum of 6 years' experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, operations, regulatory affairs or pharmaceutical project management.
- Practical experience within a pharmaceutical manufacturing consulting company.
- Strong knowledge of GMP, NAFDAC regulatory processes, manufacturing operations and commercialization.
- Experience with contract manufacturing, GMP remediation and pharmaceutical product commercialization.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication and project management skills.
