Payday Loan Officers (Freelance)

About this role

Freelance Payday Loan Officers are being recruited in Lagos to source customers, promote payday loan products and guide applicants through the process, with a focus on strong networks among government workers and employees of reputable organisations. The role is part-time and commission-based, suitable for individuals with target-driven and customer-focused approaches.

What you would do

• Ensure compliance with lending policies, KYC and regulatory guidelines
• Pre-screen borrowers and verify basic eligibility
• Assist customers with loan applications and required documents
• Explain products, eligibility, pricing and repayment terms
• Submit regular reports on leads, applications, disbursements and repayments
• Maintain relationships with customers during and after the loan cycle

• OND/NCE/BSc/HND or equivalent
• Ability to work independently and manage personal targets
• Strong personal and professional network among salary earners is desirable
• Excellent communication, persuasion and relationship-management skills
• Experience in microfinance, payday lending, sales or related financial services is an advantage
• Basic digital literacy (WhatsApp, email, mobile apps)
