The Moment of Truth Talent Series in Lagos is seeking a Partnerships Manager for a part‑time role (three days per week) to drive ecosystem growth by managing strategic relationships with universities, corporate CSR teams, development finance institutions, development agencies and banks. The role supports a programme that empowers underrepresented entrepreneurs, disabled innovators and student founders, with aims to expand access, secure funding and strengthen credibility across Nigeria and the UK.
What you would do
- Identify, map and engage decision-makers across universities, CSR teams, DFIs, multilateral agencies and banks.
- Pitch and negotiate co-branded activations, sponsored cohorts and strategic alignment opportunities.
- Represent the brand at institutional roundtables, corporate meetings and ecosystem events.
- Structure and secure formal partnership agreements (MOUs, SLAs and sponsorship contracts) aligned with targets.
- Build and manage a structured pipeline of institutional prospects and drive progress within a 3-day workweek.
- Collaborate with program teams to ensure execution of sponsored cohorts and commitments.

- At least 4 years of experience in business development, corporate partnerships, fundraising or B2B sales in Nigeria, including pitching to corporates, banks or development agencies.
- Active network of contacts across Nigerian corporate CSR teams, academic institutions, DFIs or financial institutions.
- Proven track record in negotiating and closing deals, including co-funding arrangements or corporate sponsorships.
- Strong negotiation and deal-closing skills.
- Excellent time management with ability to prioritise high-value leads and advance deals in a part-time model.
- Availability for a part-time role (3 days per week).
