About this role
A full-time remote role for a Partnerships and Grants Coordinator at SyncedCancer Initiative, based in Oyo. The position focuses on identifying, cultivating and managing relationships with local and international partners such as secondary schools, donors and funders. What you would do
- Research funding opportunities
- Coordinate outreach to potential partners
- Maintain a pipeline of prospective collaborations and grants
- Lead and support grant proposal development
- Gather program data and draft proposals
- Prepare budgets in collaboration with staff
- Ensure timely submission of applications and reports
- Track grant requirements and donor compliance
- Align funded activities with organisational priorities
- Prepare and present impact reports and updates to stakeholders

- Bachelor’s degree or HND in any field; health sciences, public health, education or social sciences is an advantage
- Proven grant or proposal writing experience; funded proposals are a strong advantage
- Excellent written English and strong research skills
- Confident public speaker; comfortable engaging students and school leaders
- Well organised with ability to manage deadlines and logistics
- Based in or able to travel within Ibadan and Oyo State for school visits
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
- Passion for cancer awareness and community health
- Experience in grant administration, tracking requirements and donor guidelines
- Strong communication, analytical and programme management skills
