Partnership & Fundraising Specialist

UnoCasa Consulting is recruiting a Partnership and Fundraising Specialist in Lagos. The role involves driving fundraising initiatives, forming strategic partnerships, and securing sustainable funding opportunities for the organisation. The successful candidate will research funding options, prepare grant proposals, manage donor relationships, run fundraising campaigns and events, and report on performance metrics.

What you would do

• Develop and implement fundraising and resource mobilisation strategies
• Research funding opportunities and prepare grant proposals
• Build and maintain relationships with corporate partners, donors, foundations and philanthropic organisations
• Plan and execute fundraising campaigns, including crowdfunding and digital fundraising
• Coordinate fundraising events, sponsorship activities and donor engagement programmes
• Maintain donor databases and ensure timely reporting, acknowledgements and follow-ups
• Prepare fundraising reports, dashboards and performance updates
• Monitor fundraising performance and identify opportunities to improve results

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (postgraduate qualification advantageous)
• At least 3 years of relevant fundraising, grant writing, resource mobilisation, donor relations or partnership development experience
• Experience in grant proposal development and donor engagement
• Experience with crowdfunding, digital fundraising or corporate sponsorships
• Excellent communication, writing, negotiation and relationship management skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, spreadsheets and fundraising or CRM tools
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
