About this role

The Packing Plant Maintenance Specialist at Dangote Cement Plc supports the Head of Packing Plant in overseeing maintenance, packing and loading activities to ensure proper packing and timely dispatch of cement. The role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and DCP specifications to maintain quality standards. What you would do

• Ensure maintenance activities at the packing plant are carried out efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Oversee packing plant machine operators to ensure safety and proper utilisation of machines.
• Oversee implementation of the approved packing plant plan to meet established targets.
• Ensure packing plant processes are carried out in line with agreed procedures and guidelines.
• Secure clearance from Head of Production and Head of Quality Control before packing and loading.
• Supervise the packing plant shift teams to ensure effective and efficient execution of activities and attainment of daily targets.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
• Postgraduate qualification or relevant professional qualification is an added advantage.
• Minimum of fifteen years' relevant work experience, with at least five years in a supervisory role.
• In-depth knowledge of cement production process and cement packing machines and their functions.
• Excellent project management and leadership skills; good problem solving and analysis skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
