Packaging Officer
About this role
Moniepoint Incorporated is hiring a Packaging Officer in Port Harcourt to ensure refurbished terminals that pass QA are properly packaged, labelled and logged before moving to inventory. The role supports repair operations by maintaining packaging quality, compliance with SOPs and accurate logging of packaged devices. The position focuses on meeting packaging targets, maintaining inventory accuracy and coordinating with repair, QA and inventory teams. It is an onsite, outsourcing role within the Repair Operations department.
What you would do
- Receive QA-approved refurbished terminals and verify they meet packaging criteria
- Check the packaging checklist to ensure inclusion of charger, cable, frosted bag, serial label and packaging carton
- Ensure only QA-approved terminals are packaged and that powered terminals are checked prior to packaging
- Log every packaged terminal in the system with full packaging details
- Track daily and weekly packaging performance against targets
- Coordinate with inventory officers to push and collect terminals as needed
- Reject damaged or non-compliant terminals with valid reasons and return to inventory for re-evaluation
- Follow SOPs for packaging and materials usage
- Collaborate with repair and QA teams to identify process improvements in packaging
- Maintain an accurate record of packaged and unpackaged terminals and report discrepancies

- Prior experience in electronics handling, warehouse packaging or operations support (preferred)
- OND / HND / Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (preferred)
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with inventory or device tracking systems
- Ability to follow structured workflows
- Physical stamina to handle and package devices in a warehouse/repair centre
- Attention to detail and process discipline
