Packaging Officer

About this role

The Packaging Officer role is based in Rivers (Port Harcourt) and works onsite as part of the Repair Operations team. The position focuses on ensuring refurbished terminals that pass QA are properly packaged, labelled and logged before moving to inventory for distribution. It supports product quality and packaging workflow compliance within Moniepoint's refurbishment process. The role reports to the Regional Repair Operations Manager and is offered on an outsourcing employment basis. What you would do

• Handle packaging of QA-approved refurbished terminals according to the packaging checklist
• Log packaged terminals in the system with full details and monitor packaging performance against targets
• Coordinate with inventory officers to move terminals to and from stock and report discrepancies
• Reject damaged or non-compliant terminals and return them to inventory with reasons, ensuring SOPs are followed
• Collaborate with repair and QA teams to identify and suggest improvements to packaging processes

• OND / HND / Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred
• Prior experience in electronics handling, warehouse packaging, or operations support is preferred

• Familiarity with inventory or device tracking systems

• Physical stamina to handle and package devices in a warehouse/repair centre environment
