About this role
The role is for taking and coordinating restaurant and room-service orders to ensure accurate, timely and courteous guest service. It targets individuals with experience in restaurant, room-service or order taking, and a background in hospitality is a plus.
What you would do
- Take food and beverage orders by phone or in person and enter them into the POS system accurately
- Explain menu items, availability and prices to guests
- Confirm room numbers, guest details, special requests and dietary information with guests and relay to the team
- Coordinate with kitchen, bar and service staff to monitor order preparation and delivery
- Check order accuracy, communicate delays and address guest concerns promptly
- Maintain order records and follow hotel service, hygiene and billing procedures

- Minimum of SSCE; OND or training in Hospitality or related discipline is an advantage
- At least 1 year of restaurant, room-service or order-taking experience
- Clear communication and good telephone etiquette
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to use a POS system
- Ability to multitask and work accurately under pressure
