What you would do
- Screen patients
- Conduct preliminary eye assessments
- Measure visual acuity and intraocular pressure
- Perform objective and subjective refraction
- Carry out visual fields, OCT, A-scan biometry and B-scan ultrasonography
- Maintain accurate clinical records
What they are asking for
- Doctor of Optometry degree from a recognised university
- Completed internship and NYSC, or exemption certificate
- Current ODORBN registration and practising licence
- Preferably at least two years post-internship experience; recently qualified optometrists may also be considered
- Equipment training can be provided on site
