An Optician is sought to join CarePoint Hospitals in Egbeda, Lagos, to provide optical services, assist patients, and maintain records in a hospital setting. The role targets qualified professionals with dispensing optics experience and hospital or clinic exposure.
What you would do
- Collaborate with ophthalmologists, optometrists and other health professionals.
- Dispense and fit spectacles and optical products as per prescriptions.
- Take accurate measurements and ensure proper eyewear fitting and adjustments.
- Provide customer service and address patients' optical concerns.
- Manage stock of frames, lenses and other optical supplies.
- Maintain accurate patient and optical records and ensure policy and infection control compliance.

- Degree, HND or relevant qualification in Dispensing Opticianry or related field.
- Valid professional registration or licence where applicable.
- Experience in a hospital, eye clinic or optical practice is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications.
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
