Operations Support Specialist
About this role
Pagatech Limited in Lagos is looking for an Operations Support Specialist. The role involves ensuring smooth operational delivery by monitoring transactions, resolving customer and system issues, and supporting incident management and reconciliation, while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to maintain service excellence.
What you would do
- Monitor daily transactions across all payment channels and services.
- Investigate and resolve failed, pending, and inconclusive transactions.
- Escalate critical incidents to appropriate teams and vendors for resolution.
- Log, track, and manage incidents in accordance with established SLAs.
- Perform daily reconciliation of transactions and investigate discrepancies.
- Liaise with finance and partner institutions on settlement-related matters.

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology, Economics, or related field.
- Minimum 2-4 years' experience in Operations Support, Transaction Operations, FinTech Operations, Banking Operations, or Customer Operations.
- Knowledge of ISO 20000 Service Management practices.
- ITIL Incident and Problem Management processes.
- Experience with electronic payment systems, NIP transactions, and settlement processes.
- Proficiency with Jira, Service Desk, or ticket management systems.
