Total Data Limited seeks an Operations Supervisor in Lagos to oversee both production and warehouse activities within the plant. The role requires coordinating daily operations, ensuring safety, and supporting continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will manage production processes, logistics coordination, and staff across production, warehouse, and related functions, while maintaining operational standards and reporting on performance.
What you would do
- Supervise daily production and warehouse operations to meet schedules and targets.
- Coordinate activities across production, warehouse and logistics teams for efficient material flow.
- Monitor production processes, machinery and workflows to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
- Manage operational staff, including production workers, warehouse personnel, loaders and technicians; assign tasks and shifts.
- Provide on-the-job training and guidance on procedures and safety standards.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs and workplace regulations; enforce PPE use.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised plant and warehouse environment.
- Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
- Ensure machinery and equipment function properly and report faults to maintenance.
- Maintain records of production output, inventory movements, attendance and incidents; prepare routine reports.
