Operations Supervisor
About this role
Martglobal Limited in Lagos seeks an experienced Operations Supervisor to coordinate day-to-day operational activities across facilities, utilities and support services. The candidate should have a technical background or hands-on experience with electrical/electronic equipment and industrial components, with strong administrative and problem-solving abilities. The role suits someone with experience in manufacturing or technical environments.
What you would do
- Coordinate day-to-day operational activities and support services across facilities and utilities.
- Monitor and coordinate management of utilities and facility services (power, water, generator, air conditioning, lighting, plumbing).
- Oversee the condition and operation of facilities, equipment, tools and assets; identify and escalate issues for resolution.
- Liaise with maintenance personnel and service providers on repairs, servicing, installations and general facility maintenance.
- Manage spare parts and maintenance requests, ensuring documentation, approval, issuing and tracking; coordinate with Stores/Procurement for availability.
- Maintain records of equipment, spare parts, maintenance requests and utility usage; monitor accountability and follow up on outstanding requests.
What they are asking for
- HND or BSc in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management, Operations Management or related discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in operations, facilities, utilities, maintenance coordination, technical support or spare-parts management.
- Experience in manufacturing, engineering, industrial, electrical/electronics or technical environments.
- Strong practical knowledge of electrical/electronic equipment, components, industrial machinery spare parts, tools and related materials.
- Experience coordinating facility maintenance, utilities, repairs, service providers and contractors.
- Proximity to the work location; based in Lagos or nearby.
