Operations Supervisor
About this role
An operations supervisor role at Smokey Jollof in Lagos for candidates with supervisory experience in restaurant or hospitality settings. The position is part-time with a 1 day on, 1 day off schedule (about 15 working days per month).
What you would do
- Open and close the restaurant according to procedures
- Monitor food quality, hygiene, cleanliness and safety standards
- Manage cash, stock, equipment and other resources
- Support the team in achieving sales and operational targets
- Supervise staff performance, attendance and productivity
- Prepare daily operational reports for management

- 2–3 years of supervisory or higher experience in a restaurant, fast-food or hospitality business
- Good knowledge of restaurant operations and customer service
- Experience from Smokey Jollof or similar brands is preferred
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility for daily operations

- Strong leadership and people-management skills
