Operations Officer - Market Centra
About this role
This role is for an Operations Officer to run day-to-day activities on the Market Centra platform, overseeing vendors, listings, marketplace operations, and customer issues. It targets candidates with experience in e-commerce or digital marketplaces and a background in a related field.
What you would do
- Oversee daily Market Centra operations and marketplace activities
- Manage vendor onboarding, verification, activation and ongoing compliance
- Monitor product, service and business listings for accuracy and compliance
- Develop processes for vendor management, transactions, complaints and issue resolution
- Coordinate with the technology team to report and resolve platform issues
- Monitor orders, transactions, cancellations and disputes and work with Customer Support to resolve complaints
What they are asking for
- BSc or HND in Business Administration, Public Administration, Economics or related field
- 2–3 years’ experience in e-commerce, digital marketplaces, online retail, fintech or related industry
- Experience managing vendors, merchants, customers or marketplace operations
- Strong understanding of online marketplace operations and digital platforms
- Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and relevant digital tools
