What you would do
- Negotiate pricing, terms and contracts with suppliers to secure cost-effective supply.
- Monitor cement market trends, pricing and freight costs to inform sourcing decisions.
- Build and maintain relationships with mills, traders and freight forwarders.
- Evaluate supplier performance using KPIs on quality, delivery, and cost.
- Oversee sourcing and purchasing of cement and other commodities.
- Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and trade documentation.
- Optimise transport routes and costs to improve delivery efficiency and reduce landed costs.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines and customs agents for smooth processes.
- Lead end-to-end logistics including shipment scheduling, port clearance, inland transport and last-mile delivery.
- Develop and implement SOPs across procurement, logistics and admin functions and drive cost-saving improvements.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field.
- 7+ years in operations, supply chain or logistics management, preferably in cement, building materials or bulk commodities trading.
- Experience with procurement, logistics and warehouse functions in an integrated role.
- Experience with international trade, shipping and import documentation is highly desirable.
