Operations Manager

About this role

The Borough Lagos is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee Youtopia Beauty's day-to-day operations in Lagos. The role covers retail, warehouse, inventory, procurement, logistics and customer experience, and works with the Managing Director to implement business strategies and drive operational growth.

What you would do

• Oversee day-to-day operations across retail, warehouse and administrative functions to ensure efficiency.
• Manage inventory, including stock levels, stock counts, discrepancies, and record accuracy.
• Coordinate procurement and supplier relationships to maintain product availability.
• Supervise order fulfilment, logistics and deliveries to ensure timely and accurate customer orders.
• Lead and manage the operations and retail teams to achieve high performance and accountability.
• Develop and implement SOPs and operational policies, and prepare reports for the Managing Director.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years' experience in an operations management role within beauty, cosmetics, skincare, fashion, retail, or FMCG.
• Strong understanding of retail operations, inventory management, supply chain, procurement and logistics.
• Proven experience managing teams and driving operational performance.
• Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management or ERP systems.
