What you would do

• Lead, manage and develop the Operations team.
• Oversee import/export operations, manifests, vessel calls and transshipment activities.
• Ensure compliance with procedures, standards and deadlines for hazardous, out-of-gauge and reefer cargo.
• Monitor operational KPIs and report to senior management.
• Coordinate with shipping lines, regional and head offices, port authorities, terminals and third-party service providers.
• Represent the organisation in dealings with terminals and port authorities.
• Review and validate operational invoices and identify cost optimisation opportunities.
• Develop and implement operational policies aligned with group standards.
• Drive digital transformation, electronic data interchange (EDI) and process improvements.
