About this role
The role is for an Operations Lead in a manufacturing and agro-processing organisation based in Lagos. The position supports the COO with plant readiness, project execution, operational transition and cross-functional activities. What you would do
- Coordinate production, maintenance, HSE, quality, SOP development and staffing to support plant readiness and operational transition.
- Track engineering, procurement, equipment installation, contractor activities and project milestones to ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor operational and project KPIs, maintain trackers and prepare regular reports for the COO on progress, risks, delays, milestones and needed interventions.
- Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, HR, Legal, Engineering, HSE and Logistics to resolve operational issues and ensure availability of materials, equipment, consumables and spares.
- Coordinate OEMs, contractors, consultants, suppliers and internal teams; ensure actions are completed and escalate issues promptly.

- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in manufacturing operations, plant operations, industrial operations, engineering/project execution or related fields.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations Management or related field.
- Proven experience managing OEMs, contractors, vendors and consultants with strong coordination and negotiation skills.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing and plant operations, project execution, process/SOP development and operational performance management.
