Operations Auditor

About this role

The role is Operations Auditor for Smart Partners, based in Akwa Ibom. What you would do

• Conduct routine and surprise audits of operational activities, outlets, inventory, cash handling and documentation.
• Review compliance with company policies, SOPs and internal controls.
• Verify sales records, stock movements, expenses, reconciliations and supporting documents.
• Identify process gaps, control weaknesses, fraud risks and operational irregularities.
• Prepare audit reports clearly highlighting findings, risks and recommended corrective actions.
• Follow up on the implementation of agreed audit recommendations.

• BSc or HND in accounting, finance, business administration or related discipline.
• 3-5 years' experience in operations audit, internal audit, compliance or related role.
• Strong knowledge of internal controls, inventory, cash management and operational procedures.
• Analytical, investigative and report-writing skills.
• High attention to detail, integrity and confidentiality.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant reporting tools.
