Operational Risk Relationship Manager

About this role

The role supports the Head of Operational Risk Management and unit heads in coordinating and driving bank-wide operational risk activities, with a focus on the SBU/SRF. It is suitable for a candidate with at least five years of relevant experience and a first degree, preferably in a numerate discipline; higher qualifications are desirable.

What you would do

• Implement and maintain the operational risk framework in collaboration with the BORMs.
• Drive adoption of operational risk management tool-sets across the risk community.
• Reconcile the Oprisk loss database with the general ledger on a monthly basis.
• Ensure prompt submission of risk reports by BORMs and facilitate risk identification and assessment workshops.
• Assist in assessing and quantifying operational risk using the risk grading matrix and available data.
• Develop templates, provide guidance, and consolidate operational risk issues and losses for accuracy.
