Operational Risk Analyst
About this role
A role for an Operational Risk Analyst in RMB Nigeria (Lagos) supporting the ORM with day-to-day risk reporting and governance activities. It targets candidates with a background in finance or related fields and 2–5 years of experience, able to work in a small, client-focused team.
What you would do
- Monitor entity-wide KRI capture and approvals and escalate gaps
- Ensure KRI breaches have action plans and assist in KRI setting/review sessions
- Maintain and update PRCIA items and coordinate reviews with the ORM and businesses
- Track PRICA review calendar and prompt upcoming reviews
- Prepare operational risk reports as assigned by the ORM or CRO
- Provide general administrative support and log OpRisk incidents in OpenPages and participate in governance meetings
What they are asking for
- Graduate degree
- 2–5 years of work experience in relevant fields (investment banking, accounting, audit, management consulting or similar)
- Experience with MS Excel financial modelling, including income statement forecasting and scenario analysis
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Good verbal and written communication
- Ability to work in a small team with high client contact and manage multiple tasks
