OPay is hiring for two roles in Lagos and nationwide. The first position is an Events Manager within the Integrated Marketing & Communications team, focusing on external and business-led events and supporting broader marketing activities. The second role is Field Collection Agent, a full-time position aimed at managing delinquent loan portfolios through field visits and negotiations. What you would do
- Plan and manage events from concept to post-event report with a clear link to brand and business goals
- Develop event briefs including goals, audience, budget, timeline and KPI
- Coordinate end-to-end event logistics, guest lists, branding and on-site management
- Collaborate with sales, partnerships, brand, creative and PR teams to support campaigns
- Identify relevant industry events and determine attendance, speaking slots or sponsorships
- Manage event budgets and vendor relationships, and ensure procurement policy adherence
- Prepare budgets and cost breakdowns for events and projects, with spending records
- Monitor and report event results, spend and brand visibility for future improvements
- Support planning and rollout of integrated campaigns and on-ground activations
- Draft briefs for creative/content and coordinate with agencies and partner teams
What they are asking for
- 4–6 years in marketing with at least 3 years in events, agency or in-house
- Experience delivering corporate or brand events for 300+ guests
- Experience managing a brand’s presence at industry events, conferences or expos
- Broad marketing experience including campaigns, activations, partnerships or brand projects
- Ability to tie events and campaigns to business results and budgets
- Experience managing multiple vendors and procurement processes
- Willingness to travel and work some evenings and weekends
- Clear, timely written updates and reports
- Nice to have: fintech/banking/FMCG/telecoms experience; Nigerian event industry contacts; sponsorship or speaking-slot experience
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field
