Onne Security Coordinator

About this role

The Onne Security Coordinator oversees the security of the Onne Security Base and surrounding operational areas in Rivers. The role involves implementing the Company Security Plan, coordinating security personnel and government security forces, monitoring security systems and conducting investigations to protect people, assets, facilities and operations. It is aimed at a candidate with a degree and experience in industrial security, preferably in oil and gas, with leadership and people management skills.

What you would do

• Develop, implement and regularly exercise the Onne Base Security Plan.
• Conduct security inspections and patrols across the Onne Base, quay-side and staging areas.
• Regulate access to the warehouse, base and surrounding facilities; manage checks on people, vehicles, trucks and materials entering or leaving the base.
• Coordinate the deployment of Government Security Forces and Civil Guards to the base and surrounding facilities.
• Conduct security inductions for employees, contractors and visitors; vet personnel requiring access badges.
• Gather, analyse and report on security information and incidents; maintain incident records and follow up on investigations.
