Nutrition Officer
About this role
A Nutrition Officer to support implementation and supervision of LPF’s nutrition programmes for vulnerable and crisis-affected populations in Borno. The role involves field activities, coordination with teams, and ensuring high-quality nutrition services in line with guidelines and donor requirements.
What you would do
- Support day-to-day implementation of nutrition programme activities
- Monitor progress against targets and identify gaps with corrective actions
- Conduct nutrition screening and identify at-risk individuals for referral
- Support management and follow-up of nutrition cases with health personnel
- Assist with IYCF activities and caregiver nutrition education
- Engage communities and coordinate outreach, referrals and data collection
