About this role
Role: Nigeria Execution Specialist for One Acre Fund, based in Bauchi. The role focuses on managing data and operational systems to support the Nigeria programme, expanding its reach and ensuring efficient field execution for programmes serving smallholder farmers. It suits someone with operations, data analytics and leadership experience who can guide teams across field sites.
What you would do
- Own and maintain data management protocols across seedling production, enrolment of farmers and distribution.
- Design and maintain dashboards to track real-time KPIs, inventory and performance.
- Analyse operational data to identify bottlenecks, forecast capacity and drive data-informed decisions across field teams.
- Lead expansion mapping and market-entry planning, including feasibility assessments and standard launch playbooks for new nurseries.
- Audit field operations regularly and implement productivity improvements and field technology solutions to cut costs and reduce waste.
- Lead, mentor and manage teams; develop standard operating procedures and train staff; support recruitment at state or regional level.
What they are asking for
- University degree in Agricultural Economics, Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Agroforestry, International Development or related quantitative/operational field.
- 3+ years of relevant professional work experience including leading teams.
- Preferred: Project Management Certification.
- Proficiency in data analysis and dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) and SQL or advanced Excel.
- Experience with mobile data collection platforms (CommCare, ODK, Kobo).
- Experience managing complex rural logistics, inventory and distribution operations.
